The City of Stockholm has chosen to place all of its assisted living housing in a single company, Micasa Fastigheter i Stockholm AB. Our business concept is to offer attractive accommodations for people in the city of Stockholm who are in need of support and security.
Placing all assisted living housing facilities in the same company increases the possibilities for creating new methods and closer cooperation with the tenants for the purpose of improving housing solutions for the elderly, handicapped and other groups in need of special support. Micasa Fastigheter is also meant to cooperate with other parties to promote the development of this sector.
Assisted living housing can be a service building, a treatment home, a group residence or a nursing home. But Micasa Fastigheter also owns and manages some “ordinary” apartments, a few student apartments plus around 700 seniors’ apartments. In addition, there are a number of other premises, from offices and business premises to warehouses.
